Indian Railways has approved 22,000 vacancies under various Level-1 categories for the upcoming RRB Level-1 Recruitment 2025 (CEN).
The approval was issued through Railway Board notification dated 12 December 2025.
This will be one of the biggest Railway recruitments for Group-D/Level-1 posts, covering Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Traffic, and S&T departments.

Eligibility Criteria for RRB Level-1 (2025)
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have any one of the following:
- 10th (Matric) Pass
- ITI from NCVT/SCVT
- National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)

Age Limit (Expected)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 33 years

Selection Process for RRB Level-1 2025
The selection process will follow four stages:
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

- Run 1 km in 4 min 15 sec
