Eligibility — Key Points

• Relevant date for eligibility (age, qualification, experience, apprenticeship) is 01.11.2025.
• Age range (born between 01.11.1999 and 31.10.2007) for general category; relaxations apply: SC/ST +5 yrs, OBC (NCL) +3 yrs, PwBD +10 yrs (as applicable).
• Qualification requirement: Full-time regular courses only. Part-time, correspondence, distance/online qualifications are not acceptable (exceptions noted for Ex-servicemen as per notification).
• Experience / Apprenticeship: Preference/weightage given to candidates who have completed apprenticeship in FACT and possess COP/NAC issued by Directorate General of Training / NCVT.

Terms of Engagement & Benefits

• Tenure: 2 years initially; may be extended in two 1-year spells at management discretion.
• Remuneration: Consolidated ₹25,000/month; 3% increment on successful completion of each year. Benefits such as Leave, ESI, Provident Fund, Shift Allowance, TA/DA (for duty travel) will apply as per company rules and eligibility.
• Termination: Engagement may be terminated with 15 days’ notice or pay in lieu of notice.
• No right to absorption: Fixed-tenure engagement does not confer any right for permanent employment.

Selection Procedure & Ranking Criteria

• Shortlisting & Ranking will be done after preliminary scrutiny of documents. Management may adopt suitable shortlisting methods.

Ranking order (as specified)

• Post Code 01 — Technician (Instrumentation):

  1. Completed Apprenticeship Training (Diploma Instrumentation) in FACT with COP (DG Training/NCVT).
  2. Earlier year of passing the qualification.
  3. Earlier date of birth.

• Post Code 02 — Craftsman (Machinist):

  1. Completed Apprenticeship Training (ITI Machinist) in FACT with NAC.
  2. Earlier year of passing the qualification.
  3. Earlier date of birth.

• Post Code 03 — Craftsman (Auto Electrician):

  1. Earlier year of passing the qualification.
  2. Earlier date of birth.

Management reserves the right to modify the mode of selection, shortlisting criteria or adopt additional selection stages. The Company’s decision will be final.

How to Apply (Two-Stage Process)

Stage 1 — Online Registration

1. Visit www.fact.co.in → Careers → Job Openings → Recruitment Notification 08/2025.
2. Fill the Online Registration Form fully and upload the signed Application Form (the template provided along with notification) in PDF format. Ensure all fields are correct.
3. Submit the Online Form on or before 4:00 PM on 15.11.2025.

Stage 2 — Postal Submission of Originals 4. Print the uploaded Application Form (the same PDF uploaded online), sign it, affix passport photo and attach self-attested copies of all supporting documents. 5. Send the original uploaded Application Form along with the documents (Proof of DOB, Educational Certificates from Std X onwards, COP/NAC if any, Training completion certificate from FACT Training School if any, experience certificates, caste/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman certificates if applicable, OBC-NCL declaration, Kerala Domicile (for Post Codes 2 & 3), Aadhaar etc.) by Speed Post / Registered Post to:

6. The hard copy envelope must be superscribed: “Application for the post of (_____) - Ad.08/2025”.
7. Deadline for postal receipt: Documents must reach FACT within 7 days of online submission deadline — i.e., by 21.11.2025. Applications not complying with both online + postal submission will be rejected.

Q1 — What is the last date to submit the online form?
A: Online submission closes at 4:00 PM on 15 November 2025.

Q2 — Do I need to send hard copy documents by post?
A: Yes. The signed original Application Form uploaded online plus self-attested supporting documents must be sent by Speed Post / Registered Post so they reach FACT by 21 November 2025. Applications with only online submission (without postal documents) will not be considered.

Q3 — Who can apply for Post Codes 2 & 3?
A: These posts are restricted to Kerala State candidates — you must submit a Kerala domicile certificate. Only male candidates are eligible for Posts 1–3 as per this notification.

A: ₹25,000 per month with a 3% increase on successful completion of each year; applicable statutory benefits as per rules.
