Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) under Kolkata City NUHM Society invites online applications for the engagement of Staff Nurse on a contractual basis under the Health Department of KMC.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

1. Residency & Local Language

• Candidate must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• Candidate must have knowledge of local languages as per Order Memo No. HFW/NHM–332/2023/1003(3) dated 31.07.2023.
• Candidate must have proficiency in Bengali.

2. Educational Qualification

• Candidate must have completed GNM Nursing course from an institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council / West Bengal Nursing Council
  OR
• Candidate must have completed B.Sc Nursing and registered with West Bengal Nursing Council.

3. Age Limit

• Not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2025.
• Age relaxations will be applicable for reserved categories as per norms of Govt. of West Bengal.

Remuneration

₹25,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Mode of Selection

A two-stage selection process after document verification:

1. Eligibility, Academic Qualification, Experience Scoring
2. Interview

If two or more candidates obtain the same marks, preference will be given to the candidate senior in age as on 1st January 2025.

• No rounding off of marks allowed.
• Proportionate marking up to 2 decimal points will be considered.
