Eligibility Criteria – POWERGRID Jobs 2025
Field Engineer (Electrical / Civil)
- Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg.) with 55% marks
- Experience: 1 year in Design/Construction/Testing/Commissioning (Power Sector preferred)
Field Supervisor (Electrical / Civil / E&C)
- Qualification: Full-time Diploma (55% marks) in relevant discipline
- Higher qualification like B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech not allowed
- Experience: 1 year in relevant field (Power/Telecom preferred)
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 29 Years (as on 17.09.2025)
- Relaxation: As per Govt. norms (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-SM)

Selection Process – POWERGRID Written Exam 2025
- Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Pattern:
- 120 Qs – Technical (Subject knowledge)
- 50 Qs – Aptitude (Reasoning, GK, English, Quant)
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks
- Cut-Off Marks:
- UR/EWS: 40%
- OBC/SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
