Coal India Limited has released the Industrial Trainee (CA/CMA) Recruitment 2025 notification for engagement of CA (Intermediate) / CMA (Intermediate) candidates on a purely training basis for a fixed tenure of 15 months. The training slots are available across CIL Headquarters and its subsidiary companies.

Note: Trainees may be posted in any office under the jurisdiction of the concerned company.
Stipend & Training Terms
- Monthly Stipend: ₹22,000 (consolidated)
- Training Period: 15 months from the date of joining
- This engagement is not employment and does not confer any right to permanent or temporary appointment in CIL or its subsidiaries.

Educational Qualification
- Passed Intermediate Examination of CA conducted by ICAI
OR - Passed Intermediate Examination of CMA conducted by ICMAI
Not Eligible:
Candidates who have already undergone industrial training for one year or more under a similar scheme in any other PSU.

Selection Process
- Selection will be based on percentage of marks obtained in CA/CMA Intermediate examination (both groups).
- Candidates must provide preference order for 9 companies at the time of application.
- In case of tie in marks:
- Older candidate (by Date of Birth) will be ranked higher
- If still tied, higher marks in Class X will be considered
- A waiting list of 125 candidates will also be prepared.
Additional Preference:
- Land Owners: 15% preference
- Wards of Employees: 20% preference
Facilities & Conditions
- TA/DA: Not admissible
- Accommodation: May be provided on sharing basis if available
- Medical: Free OPD treatment in company dispensaries/hospitals (no indoor treatment)
- Laptop: Trainees must bring their own laptop
- Bond: Trainees must execute a bond stating no claim for employment after training
