Educational Qualification
Head Constable (Radio Operator)
- Option 1: 12th/Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and 60% aggregate marks.
OR
- Option 2: Matriculation with 2-year ITI in any of the following:
- Radio & Television / Electronics Engineering
- Computer Operator & Programming Assistant
- Data Preparation & Computer Software
- General Electronics Engineering
- Data Entry Operator
Head Constable (Radio Mechanic)
- Option 1: 12th/Intermediate with PCM and 60% aggregate marks.
OR
- Option 2: Matriculation with 2-year ITI in:
- Radio & Television / General Electronics
- Computer Operator & Programming Assistant
- Data Preparation & Computer Software
- Electrician / Fitter
- Information Technology & Electronics System Maintenance
- Communication Equipment Maintenance
- Computer Hardware & Network Technician
- Mechatronics
- Data Entry Operator
Candidates must also meet prescribed physical standards and medical norms.
Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – Objective type questions on General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability & Technical subjects.
- Physical Standard/Physical Efficiency Test (PST/PET) – Height, chest (male), running etc.
- Documentation – Verification of certificates.
- Medical Examination – Final medical fitness.
