Essential Qualifications & Experience (summary)
- Assistant Manager (E2): Relevant full-time postgraduate / professional qualifications (e.g., MBA/MMS, CA, CMA, CS, B.E/B.Tech in specified streams) with minimum marks as per notification. For most E2 streams, 1 year of related experience is desirable. Final-year students (2025) may be allowed to apply in some streams subject to conditions.
- Executive (E0): Relevant full-time graduate degree with minimum marks as per notification. Minimum one (1) year post-qualification experience in the related field is mandatory for E0 posts.
- Working knowledge of computers (MS Office) is required for both levels.

Selection Process β Step-wise
Overview: Selection consists of three stages β Stage I: Online Exam (OE) β Stage II: Group Discussion (GD) β Stage III: Personal Interview (PI). Final merit uses a 70:10:20 weightage (Online Exam : GD : PI).
Stage I β Online Exam (OE)
- Mode: Computer-based (scheduled in multiple cities: Mumbai (incl. Thane & Navi Mumbai), Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR, Bengaluru and Guwahati).
- Candidates must give three preferred centres; centre allotment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Language: Exam available in English or Hindi (except the English Language section).
- Format & Scheme:
- Assistant Manager (E2) β Composite 120 questions (total time 120 minutes). Components:
- Core Domain / Professional Knowledge β 50 questions (50 marks)
- Aptitude Test (Quantitative, Logical/Reasoning, General Awareness, English RC, Computer Knowledge) β 50 questions (50 marks)
- Psychometric Test β 20 items
- Total questions = 120; Maximum marks = 100.
- Executive (E0) β Composite 120 questions (total time 120 minutes). Components:
- Aptitude Test: 5 sections (General English, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Computer Knowledge) β 100 marks
- Psychometric Test β 20 items
- Total questions = 120; Maximum marks = 100.
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Core Domain / Professional Knowledge and Aptitude sections.
- Shortlisting from Stage I:
- For E2, shortlisting will be based on the combined score of Core Domain + Aptitude.
- For E0, shortlisting will be on the basis of Aptitude test score.
- In case of ties in Stage I score, all candidates with that same score will be called for Stage II.
Stage II β Group Discussion (GD)
- Shortlisting to GD will be done in ratio of 1:6 (number of candidates shortlisted for Stage II as per vacancies).
- Document verification will be carried out before allowing candidates to participate in GD. Original certificates must be produced at this stage.
- GD is an elimination round. Candidates who score 60% or above in GD will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview.
Stage III β Personal Interview (PI)
- Candidates shortlisted from GD will be called for PI. PI is also an elimination round β candidates scoring 70% or above in PI will be considered for final merit.
- Final weightage: Online Exam : Group Discussion : Personal Interview = 70 : 10 : 20.
- Tie-break rules: If final scores tie, preference will be given to (in order): higher Online Exam marks, and then older date of birth (earlier DOB ranks higher).
- Medical fitness and other pre-joining formalities (including biometric verification) are required before appointment.
